She also served two terms as trustee secretary on an Olympic investment foundation board.
Additionally, she has city government advisory board experience serving as finance chair and housing & community development member.

In addition to co-founding a global management consulting firm, serving as chief operating and financial officer, Raquel has had an eclectic career spanning the fields of business, education, nonprofit and retail.
A highlight of her career is the time spent in Xerox tech business as a Human Capital Business Partner working in all areas of HR from source through exit. Raquel developed unique expertise in go-to-market, business operations & quality, as well as compensation, inclusive diversity/affirmative action, transformative change management, employee wellness & succession planning. She contributed to and learned firsthand how to create an inclusive and diverse culture for all. Xerox is a pioneer in understanding the inextricable link of diversity, employee wellness, and quality, through process improvement & customer satisfaction, to achieve exponential business results. Xerox holds the distinction of having a diverse workforce, leadership cadre & suppliers; being the first Fortune 500 Company to have two female CEOs; two-time recipient of the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award; grooming many industry executives.
Before joining Xerox, Raquel held a marketing leadership position at the Girl Scouts USA. Additionally, she achieved success in sales and teaching.
